WHAT IS A BIOMARKER?

What is a Biomarker?

A biomarker is a measurable substance or value of your body that can give you an idea of just how healthy you are. Such as:

  • Your metabolism rate like your blood pressure.
  • The composition of your body such as total body fat percentage.
  • The components of your body such as different types of blood cells.
  • Lastly, the organic substances absorbed through digestion or created by your body such as hormones, fatty acid, cholesterol or glucose.

Having a true understanding of it can help transform your life so that you are no longer a passenger but the driver of your healthspan journey.
